Mechanical Design Engineer

We design and commercialize flow photo reactor for making green hydrogen and chemicals with the energy in sun light! This is an opportunity to come in at the ground level and help develop the product for an early-stage team innovating quickly at the intersection of the chemical and energy sectors. We are working to push the boundaries of what is possible in a rapidly evolving field. You’ll work with chemists and engineers to build the products that transform this space.

The ideal candidate will draft product drawings and carry out stress analysis using mechanical software tools. This individual will write the code for machining tools and test products and make adjustments where necessary. Additionally, they will optimize the product dimensions to achieve the design criteria.

Responsibilities

• Draft engineering drawings

• Perform stress analysis and thermal analysis

• Optimize dimensions of parts for maximum performance

• Conduct product testing

• Identifying failure modes

• Design to comply with the related norms

• Calculate the cost of production on scale

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Experience in prototyping of static industrial equipment

• Experience in leadership, leading project teams, and developing technical products

• Excellent team work skills and written and verbal communication skills

• Passion about developing new products and bringing them to market
